Following the sustainability policy which we defend, we have reserved an area of 10 hectares for the production of fruit and vegetables under an organic production system. The Horticulture is produced in three greenhouses and in the orchards, together with several aromatic and medicinal plants.

Livestock

In the rearing of livestock, we define the grazing for the entire year and respect the preservation and maintenance of regional and local breeds. 400 hectares are entirely dedicated to the grazing of cattle, sheep and pigs.
 
We decided on the "Alentejana” breed of cattle, very adapted to the Alentejo and certified for the production of high quality meat with a protected designation of origin. In sheep, we have the "Merino Regional” breed and in the pigs we have the infamous "black pig”. All the animals are reared out in the open, and feed on the best pasture and fodder.
